type of dysmyelinating disease
- autosomal recessive
- onset usually within 2nd year
- (?) variant of Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease
- distinguish from Kearns-Sayre syndrome
CT findings:
- microcephaly
- basal ganglion calcification
- cerebral atrophy
