ischemic necrosis / osteochondritis of the tibial tuberosity (insertion of patellar tendon, site of traumatic injury)
- ST swelling
- fragmented apophysis with irregularly increased density
- males (75-85%)
- age: 10-15 (boys), 8-13 (girls)
- 25% bilateral
