"hypernephroma", renal cell Ca

arises from PROXIMAL collecting tubule, 10% bilateral

adenocarcinoma types:

papillary
alveolar
onchocytoma

vascularity

85% hypervascular (require pre-op embolization)
10% hypovascular (usually papillary type)
5% avascular
