underdevelopment of pulmonary infundibulum
  • 8% of all congenital heart disease
  • most common CHD with cyanosis after 1 year of life

TETRAD:
  1. obstruction of RV outflow tract; usually at the pulmonary infundibulum, occasionally at pulmonary valve
  2. VSD
  3. RV hypertrophy
  4. aorta overriding the interventricular septum
