• multiple intratesticular non-shadowing echogenic foci
• size: 1 - 3 mm
• variable number
• distribution: usually diffuse

pathology:

• cellular degeneration, central calcified core

clinical significance:

• prevalence: 0.05-0.6%
• possible association with primary testicular malignancy
• association: cryptorchid testes, infertility
