- age 1 - 3 yrs most common
- skull and mandible lesions similar to EG, but more numerous
- "geographic skull", "floating teeth"
- adenopathy
- enlarged liver and spleen
- skin lesions
- diabetes insipidus
- exophthalmos
- lung disease
