- rare, benign
- F > M
- atypical hepatocytes
- no bile ducts or Kuppfer cells (unlike FNH)
- hemorrhage common (up to 50%)
- NM: cold nodule on sulfur colloid scan
associated with:
- oral contraceptives
- type 1 glycogen storage dz (von Gierke)
