scurvy

• vitamin C deficiency
• rare
• age: almost always > 6 months (!)

• Wimberger ring
• periosteal reaction (+/- massive periosteal bleed)
• white line of Frankel
• scurvy zone

DDx:

• rickets (wide growth plate)
• child abuse (no lucent "scurvy" zone)
