- extensive periosteal reaction (subperiosteal hemorrhage)
- exuberant callus formation
- cortical hyperostosis extending to epiphyseal plate
- avulsion fracture at ligamentous insertion
- subdural hematoma (most common)
- brain atrophy (up to 100%)
- infarction (50%)
- subdural hygroma
- encephalomalacia
- porencephaly
