x-ray features:

multiple, sharply marginated punched out erosions with sclerotic rims (assymetric in distribution unlike RA) sometimes associated with soft tissue masses representing tophi
good bone denstity (unlike RA)
"overhanging edge" sign of some erosions (i.e. well-defined protruding shelf of bone at the margins of erosion)
